LIFEGUARDING CLASS OFFERED

A Red Cross Lifeguarding class will be held at the Baker Swim Complex at Yosemite High School Saturday and Tuesday, Aug. 21-24, for those who would like to apply for lifeguard positions at the new complex. Cost for the class is $80. Chad Houck, the aquatics director for YHS, will teach the classes which will include lifeguarding, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.

Those who successfully complete the class will receive the certification needed to be a lifeguard. Sign-ups for the class will begin Wednesday, Aug. 18, in the main office at YHS. There is room for 15 in the class, sign-ups will be first-come, first-served.
