Students with the Future Farmers of America [FFA] from Yosemite High School held an Easter egg hunt for three kindergarten classes at Oakhurst Elementary School [OES] on Friday, April 2.

Kindergartners from Mr. Hunt’s, Mrs. Epstein’s and Mrs. Beard’s classes met with the Easter Bunny to hunt for eggs.

“It is so wonderful to have the FFA students hold the hunt for our kids,”said Mr. Hunt. “They were really looking forward to this.”
Five-year-oldChloe Monahan was overjoyed to see the Easter Bunny. She held her collection bag close to her face and told the Easter Bunny, “I’m done!”.

“The students from FFA paid for and dyed over 400 eggs for the Easter egg hunt,” said Ashley Vetter, a reporter for FFA.

“We really appreciate the kids from FFA holding the hunt for our kids. It’s a great way to bring the students from FFA and OES together,” said Kathy Murphy, OES principal.

The kindergartners collected five eggs in their bags. “This is a great Easter day!” said Chloe.
