National FFA Organization students at Yosemite High School celebrated
FFA week in grand fashion March 23-27. On Friday, March 27, the
students participated in the annual deep pit pig roast, held at
YHS. Included in the feast were salad, beans and garlic bread. Meat
from the 225-pound pig was roasted in a seven-foot deep pit. Steve
Ecklund, FFA advisor, began cooking the meat at 6:30 a.m. before
it served at 12:30 p.m.
