Yosemite High School activities for 2004

If you are interested in joining an extracurricular activity, Yosemite High School is the place to be during the 2004 school year.

Get involved in sport
There are a total of 500 spots for athletes — and some participate in more than one sport.

Fall sports include girls’ volleyball, three teams; boys’ football three teams; girls’ golf, girls’ tennis, cheerleaders and cross country, three teams. The fall sports will have an estimated 210 particpants.

Winter sports include: boys’ basketball, three teams; girls’ basketball, three teams; boys’ soccer, two teams; girls soccer, two teams; and wrestling, two teams. The winter programs include 175 athletes.

Spring sports include: baseball, two teams; softball, two teams; track, two teams; boys’ tennis and boys’ golf. Spring sports expect to include 120 participants.

Other activities
In addition to sports, other clubs and activities include art, class officers, California Scholarship Federation (CSF), National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), French Club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Homemakers of America (FHA), Interact, Key Club, Library/Computer Technology, New Life, SADD, Snowboarding Club, Spanish Club, Yosemite Running Club (YRC), Academic Decathlon, Journalism, Mock Trial, Yearbook, Drama, Band, Choir, Student Council and several tutorial programs.
