Everybody has to get into the act! Randy Brocke, Amy Stillman, Clint Stivers, Kathryn Parr, Kaitlyn Vaccaro, Sarah Harian, Keralyn Davis, Kyle Stivers, Tawni Jackson, Korina Gutierrez, Becky Carter, Brad Lohuis, Kim Usher and J.R. Singer take a group bow during a rehearsal of “Stage Favorites.”

It’s almost curtain time for the much-anticipated “Stage Favorites,” a musical variety show produced by Yosemite High School students Keralyn Davis and Kyle Stivers as their senior project.

The show begins Friday [March 28] at 7 p.m. at the Golden Chain Theatre and will run again on Saturday, same time. A Sunday matinee will also be offered at 3 p.m. Doors open a half-hour before each performance.

The all-volunteer cast and crew will feature numbers from Broadway, Disney and movie musicals. Students from the local elementary, middle and high schools will be involved, as well as adults who have worked with Golden Chain Theatre and Vision Academy of the Arts.

Half the proceeds for the event will go toward a Vision Academy of the Arts scholarship and the other half will go to Sam Rowlett, a Yosemite High School senior who has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. Sam is scheduled to perform the Star Spangled Banner at the beginning of the show.

Tickets cost $7 for general admission and $5 for senior citizens and children younger than 12. To reserve tickets, call 683-1250.
