For the 13th year an Easter egg hunt will be held in the Oakhurst Community Park on Saturday, April 12.

Sponsored by the Yosemite High School Interact Club, the hunt is open to Mountain Area children 6 years old and younger.

Interact members will fill and hide 2,500 eggs for the event to begin at 11 a.m. sharp. Every participant will receive a prize. Fifty “golden eggs” will also be hidden, which will entitle the bearer to a special prize. Rain will not cancel the event.

There will be three areas roped off for the following age groups: 2 and younger, 3 to 4 years old and 5 to 6 years old. Children are asked to provide their own basket.
