Public
hearings will be held in December to consider raising developer
fees paid to local school districts for residential and commercial
construction.
The proposal is to raise fees up to $2.29 per square foot for residential
construction and up to 38-cents per square foot for commercial construction,
but not to exceed the amount approved by the State Allocation Board.
The increase cannot go into effect until the SAB approves the increases.
Also, the increases cannot go into effect until 60 days after the
last public hearing. The last public hearing will be December 10.
Everyone is welcome to attend any of the public hearings that will
be held as follows:
December 4, 6:15 p.m., Yosemite Joint Union High School District
board room, 50200 Road 427, Oakhurst.
December 9, 6 p.m., Raymond Knowles Elementary School District,
31828 Road 600, Raymond.
December 10, 6:30 p.m., Coarsegold Union School District, 45426
Road 415, Coarsegold.
December 10, 6:30 p.m., Bass Lake Joint Union Elementary School
District, 40096 Indian Springs Road, Oakhurst.
