Yosemite High School board of trustees hold special meeting

The Yosemite Union High School District will hold a special board meeting on August 11 at 5 p.m. in the district office board room.

This special meeting will review a number of issues: Home economic expenses, donation of funds for a batting cage and football concession, temporary counseling position, textbook recommendation, summer school recommendations and approval of a FFA field trip.

Following the consent agenda items, the board of trustees will consider and act on Resolution No. 537 to designate an official representative or official alternate representative to the CRMA board of directors.

After the action items, the information items will include discussion of the budget update, growth trends, round table business and an update on the unification hearings. The public hearings are scheduled for September 3 at 6 p.m. in Raymond and 7:15 p.m. in Coarsegold. Public hearings are also scheduled for September 4 at 6:15 p.m. in Bass Lake and 7:30 p.m. in Yosemite.
