Adult Ed offers computer, CPR classes

Two classes, Advanced Internet and Introduction to PC, will be held at Yosemite High School.

Advanced Internet will be held Tuesdays, May 6 and 13, in Computer Lab 31 from 6-9 p.m.; cost is $15. This will take students beyond the browser. They will learn how to make Telnet, FTP and other software work.

Introduction to PC will meet Wednesday, May 7, in Computer Lab 32 from 6-9 p.m.; cost is $15. This is a class for the beginner. Students will learn how to turn on the computer, use the mouse and the computer.

The third class, Introduction to the Internet, will be held at Foothill High School on Yosemite Springs Parkway in Coarsegold.

This class will meet Saturday, [May 3], from 9 a.m.-noon; cost is $15. Students will learn about the Internet, how to go on-line and what to do once they are there. They will learn about E-mail and how to search for a certain topic.

A cardio-pulmonary resuscitation [CPR] and first aid class will be held at Yosemite High School Monday, [May 5], and Tuesday, [May 6], from 6-10 p.m.

This course includes lecture, demonstration and mannequin practice and testing.
