YHS grad party help

Yosemite High School graduation is quickly approaching, and we are once again seeking your help for our Sober Grad Party (June 12) for the graduating seniors of the Class of 2002.

This event has taken place and been very successful for many years because of people and businesses in our communities.

Through the years we have given away many prizes students have found useful in their college and young adult lives. Some of these have been mini-refrigerators, microwave ovens, small appliances, automotive supplies and services, gift certificates, cash, other services — and even cars.

All of this has been possible because of the generous support we’ve always received from our Mountain Area. We hope this year we may also count on you for your donations of prizes, services, cash, food, time and the many other ways people have found to help us make this a safe, sober and fun celebration for our graduating seniors.

We have an energetic Sober Grad Committee that is anxious to help out in many ways. Some of them will be coming around in the next several weeks, collecting donations. They will also give you a receipt because your gift is tax-deductible.
