First YHS graduating class plans reunion

The first graduating class of Yosemite High School (1977) will be celebrating their 25th reunion on July 13.

Also attending will be the graduating classes from 1978 through 1980.

The event will be held at La Ryan Event Center in Fresno at a cost of $40-$44 per person, depending on the chosen meal.

Social hour, with an open bar available, begins at 6 p.m.

Dinner is served at 7, with music and dancing offered from 7-11 p.m.

The evening will include a commemorative coffee mug and a class book as well as the dinner, music and dancing.

Remember hair?

Organizers promise “Lots of reconnecting with those people who remember when you had long hair, or had hair, and those days before carpools, stretch marks and work deadlines.”

Those who plan to attend the reunion festivities are advised to bring along a camera, yearbook and pictures from their graduating year.

It is requested that former students respond by June 29. Include information such as name, address, e-mail and choice of dinner (chicken — $40, steak — $42 or prime rib — $44).

Neat mugs

Commemorative coffee mugs, in case anyone unable to attend would like to order one, are $5 each.

Checks can be made out to Kaden Ferretti and sent to Post Office Box 682, Clovis 93613-0682.

The La Ryan Event Center is located at 4277 North West Avenue in Fresno, just north of Ashlan Avenue.
