Job shadowing behind the press

Sierra Star reporter Lacey Rees demonstrates some of the duties that come with being part of a busy news team, as students Ronnie Gordon, Brett Johnson (both eighth graders at Oak Creek Intermediate School) and Madeep Bhangoo (a freshman at Yosemite High School) observe.

The students are participants in the Job Shadowing program that allows a close-up view of businesses and their everyday operations. After their tours, the students will prepare talks and explain to their classmates what they learned.
