presents Winter Concert

Yosemite High School musicians in Carey Hurst’s instrumental music class want
to make sure everything goes just right for the Winter Concerts set for
December 12‑13. |
Instrumental
and choral performances by the Yosemite High School Music Department will be
presented at a Winter Concert on December 12 and 13.
The first
concert will be held Thursday, December 12 at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church
in Oakhurst at 7 p.m. The second presentation of the concert will be at
Mountain Christian Center on Friday, December 13, also at 7 p.m.
Carey Hurst,
instrumental music teacher at YHS, is enthusiastic about the upcoming event. “There
will be a variety of music, including Polish Christmas music,” she said. She
also mentioned a Huron Indian tune that will be presented and a Christmas sing‑along.
During
intermission, refreshments will be served.
Advanced sale
tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for children and students. At‑the‑door
tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for children and adults.

High School Music offices at 683‑4667, extension 242 (for choir) or extension
243 (for band).
