As she discussed the career of Yosemite High School original employee Buddy Cudd during the YHS anniversary-Cudd retirement celebration a few days ago, head counselor Valinda Clevenger couldn’t resist noting she was hired as a swimming coach when YHS opened — and that 25 years later, there is still no pool on the campus.
