YHS ‘Jurors’ production concludes next weekend

“Twelve Angry Jurors,” a production by the Yosemite High School Drama Department, will conclude with performances Thursday [December 20], and Friday, December 21.

The house opens at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8.

YHS drama teacher and the play’s director, Scott Evans, says this is a courtroom drama that touches on prejudice, fair trials and the justice system.

He notes that the play was originally written for a television script in the 1950s.

It is about jurors dealing with a murder trial and facing their own prejudice and ignorance.
