Jessica Young, A Yosemite High School student, displays her winning poster-contest entry that was purchased by Sierra Historic Sites Association. The painting will be used as this year's poster to announce the upcoming Mountain Heritage Days celebration to be held on September 15 and 16.

The painting depicts two rocking chairs on the front porch of the historic 1867 Taylor log house located in the Fresno Flats Historical Park.

The painting was transformed into a poster by the donated talents of computer designer Terri Andersen and Sierra Tel Business Center. Jessica's original painting will be on display at the historical park's Cunningham School by September 1.
