The Yosemite High School Music Department will present three Winter Concerts this month. The first will be Monday, December 11, at 7 p.m. at the Yosemite Lakes Community Church in Yosemite Lakes Park. There will be an afternoon concert, especially for senior citizens, Tuesday, December 12, at 4 p.m. at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church in Oakhurst and a second concert December 12 at 7 p.m. at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church.

Tickets are a donation of $5 for adults and $3 for students and those 55 years and older. Tickets are available at Dorsey’s Hallmark, at Oakhurst Frameworks, at the door or by calling YHS Band Director Bill Samuelson at 683-4667, extension 243, or YHS Choral Director Sean Mills at 683-4667, extension 242.

Holiday music will be featured during the concerts. Selections will be by the YHS Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir and Chamber Singers under the direction of Mr. Mills, assisted by Ann White, and by the YHS Concert Band, Wind Ensemble and Percussion under the direction of Mr. Samuelson. Ethel Jordan is pianist for the singers.
