Numerous activities planned by Coarsegold Home School

Coarsegold Home School kicked off the 2003-2004 school year with Back-to-School Night on August 27. Parents and students greeted one another and shared refreshments as teacher Denise Bausch presented information on field trips, classes, and activities being offered.

“This year is shaping up to be an exciting one with many events already planned,” Bausch said.

Teena Hagerman of the Coarsegold Performing Arts Center will be teaching a theatre class and Bausch will again be teaching creative writing. In addition, students will be studying caverns and caves in preparation for an upcoming field trip to Boyden Cavern in Sequoia National Park.

Parents who are new to the program will be visiting the Instructional Media Center next week and in October families will explore the Forestiere Underground Gardens.
